Lorena Sganzerla (M&B)
My research interests span across empirically and theoretically informed models of cognition, applying features from philosophy of mind, a general theory of complex systems and self-organization to leverage an integrative framework of how preferences are shaped and how information is prioritized by cognitive systems, employing appropriate action-based responses in complex contexts and the ontologies it generates. Chris Droppa (M&B)
Pursuing possibilities for empirically-responsible systematic philosophy, constructing coherent systems enveloping foundational life sciences, ontology, and cognitive theories. Zoe Johnson (M&B)
Her previous research projects have explored how Virtual Reality technologies may enhance rehabilitation. Her current research investigates which philosophical theory might best explain the unique perceptual experience in VR. Max Hellrigel-Holderbaum (M&B)
His interests pan from meta-research, sleep, artificial intelligence and broad neuroscientific theories such as the free-energy principle or predictive processing. |
Jonas Mago (PhD candidate, McGill University)
studies the cognitive mechanisms underlying meditation, prayer and psychedelics using a multimodal approach combining neuroimaging (EEG hyperscanning), computational neuroscience (active inference and the free energy principle) and neuro-phenomenology. Jasmine Onstad (M&B)
I have an interest in the intersections between philosophy, (neuro)psychology, technology and art. Questioning the ontological status of cognition and cognitive models, and applying an ecological lens, is central to my work. Emre Fatih (M&B)
My research currently revolves around explaining social cognition and intersubjectivity from enactive/embodied perspective, and on theories of consciousness. |
